CAMERANA X NATIONAL MUSEUM OF QATAR – MAUTO MUSEO NAZIONALE DELL’AUTOMOBILE
As part of the prestigious Qatar Creates Spring-Summer 2025, we’re thrilled to announce Benedetto Camerana’s participation in the international panel Driving Urban Futures: The Role of Cultural Industries in Shaping Cities, dedicated to the strategic value of culture in urban development.
You can register and attend the panel through [this link].
????️ April 22 | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM UTC +3 | Fire Station Theater
As an architect and President of the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile – MAUTO, Camerana will share his visionary approach, shaped by years of work at the crossroads of culture, architecture, and design. His portfolio includes iconic projects such as the Alfa Romeo Historical Museum in Arese, the redesign of the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, and international exhibitions for Maserati—all prime examples of how cultural identity can drive urban regeneration and global appeal.
Joining the panel will be Stefano Lo Russo, Mayor of Turin, and Irina Bokova, former Director-General of UNESCO. Moderating the discussion is Jelena Trkulja, Senior Advisor for Academic and Cultural Affairs at Qatar Museums.
This event offers a timely opportunity to reflect on the future of our cities and the vital role of culture as both an intangible infrastructure and a driver of sustainable development.
The talk will follow the opening of the exhibition Ultraleggera: A Design Journey, a special collaboration between the National Museum of Qatar and MAUTO – National Automobile Museum. Don’t miss it!
