Private apartament in via Viotti 1
Located almost sixty meters above the ground, in the Torre della Reale Mutua in Piazza Castello in Turin, the private home of the architect Camerana develops in an uninterrupted environment on four facades, like a large loft suspended in the sky.
The design of the house replaces the classic orthogonal walls with cylindrical surfaces in navy blue polyester, which enclose the round kitchen and two small bathrooms, painted in a very vivid Pantone yellow, in contrast with the different neutral gray tones of the walls. Numerous historical and current design pieces have been chosen for the furnishing of the apartment: bold traces of color combined with an ubiquitous wenge wood slatted floor. The protagonist of the space is undoubtedly the light, capable of designing always different atmospheres: in this regard, the BTicino My Home home automation system allows you to control and manage 16 different and pre-established light scenarios. The metallic Light Tech series was also chosen for the control plates; the less visible system technology, such as actuators and dimmers, are also signed by BTicino.
