Italian Avantgarde Car Design

“The Italian Avantgarde in Car Design” exhibition, held in New York, was the most important Italian cars cultural exhibition, ever realized in the United States.
The exhibition concept, promoted by the great Venetian art and car publisher Bruno Alfieri, was to show the most beautiful cars from Italian producers and body makers paired with period design and art printed on canvas walls under a chronological time line.
The exhibition project was designed by Benedetto Camerana with Massimo Vignelli, the worldwide most renowned graphic designer, and as an Italian working in new York an example of the italian-american relationship.
