EXHIBITION SPACE AND SHOWROOM IN VIA TORTONA MILANO GROWS
The construction of Benedetto Camerana‘s project for the future exhibition space and multifunctional center is proceeding rapidly at Via Tortona 31. The project is based on redevelopment of two linear workshops, partly through renovation and integration, and partly through demolition and reconstruction. The main building facing Via Tortona is being demolished and rebuilt with a revised decagonal section volume, industrial metal structure, asymmetrical skylight, preservation of industrial facade as an archaeological fragment, passage garden, and a large lateral facade serving as an urban scenography with translucent material and soft luminance.
The construction site, managed by Benedetto Camerana Studio‘s team, with the support of Politecnica for engineering, grows day by day, redefining the urban environment and perspective of this crucial space in fashion and design district.
