MIND INNOVATION WEEK
THE FIRST EDITION OF FESTIVAL DEDICATED TO RESEARCH AND INNOVATION
From May 8th to 13th, the first edition of the MIND Innovation Week was held. This public festival took place in the MIND Milano Innovation District and featured over 70 events, including workshops, talks, workshops, and performances with academics, researchers, institutions, businesses, and startups exploring the major themes of our time. Arch. Benedetto Camerana was invited to participate in the roundtable discussion titled Beyond ESG: Opportunities, Investment, Impact.
The event presented a broad perspective on sustainability as an investment landscape for key players in urban innovation. By applying the conventional understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) as a system of actions necessary to generate best practices and mitigate risks, stakeholders now have the opportunity to capitalize on both tangible and intangible profitability in the public and private sectors. This can be achieved by investing in innovative and collaborative business models that serve mutual interests. During the event, multiple voices from the financial, real estate, and academic realms contributed to promoting the opportunity for truly sustainable investments to monetize social value and generate a positive impact.
