THE LIGHTING OF PISTA500 BY IGUZZINI
The collaboration between iGuzzini and Benedetto Camerana Studio has its roots in the past, with numerous collaborations in museums, housing and public. The recent example of Pista500 covering 27,000 square meters of coverage, with natural installations covering over 6,000 square meters, divided into twenty-eight green “islands”.
The artificial lighting was created with iGuzzini luminaires and is modeled in harmony with the surrounding environment. It is not meant to dominate, but to accompany idea of simplicity, relaxation and pleasure. The architecture consists of hazel trees, dry-cleaning plants and edible species that alternate with fitness, meditation and yoga areas. On iGuzzini website a sequence of images tells the evocative vision even when the sun sets and the light draws the new garden.
